While the Olympics Delivery Authority has made a commitment to holding the greenest Olympics ever, the BBC reported in April 2012 that air pollution in London is still the highest in Europe and more than twice the World Health Organisation limits. In addition, on the eve of the opening of the London Olympic Games the UK Government has issued an “air pollution alert”.

Increasing concerns about air quality in cities has sparked a number of recent studies on the detrimental medical effects of pollution on those exercising outdoors.

The new CiNQRO™ mask has an upgraded valve moulding that allows even more heat and water vapour out to enable easier breathing during strenuous activity. The masks are constructed  from a neoprene shell with an overlaid metallic skin in four colours with limited edition red, white and blue designs.

The packaging accommodates a spare Techno™ filter so the user has the choice of two types of filtration – the sports filter being suited to air-borne particulate filtration (e.g. diesel, dust and pollen) and the Techno™ being suited to both particulate filtration AND filtration of chemical gases.
